Work is set to begin on 29 July to replace the ageing gas pipes in Ufford, Wickham Market. The planned activity will involve the decommissioning of the current metallic gas pipes, which were originally installed in the 1930s along Byng Hall Road, Loadham Road, Spring Lane and along the B1438.
Following consultation and close collaboration with Suffolk County Council and Ufford parish council, we will be placing two way lights and road closures along Byng Hall Road, Loadham Road and the High street. We have altered our plans to ensure the work is completed as safely as possible with the least disruption to the Ufford residents.
Our teams have arrived back on to your site! Following from the Christmas break our teams are here to continue your gas main replacement project. To begin the new year, they have begun works on the A12 flyover heading towards Byng Hall Road. Please be aware that there will be two way traffic lights in place, so please plan your journey accordingly.
